This post is part 1 of our new blog series, Traveling the World, which highlights some of the amazing places I’ve gone with my Purse Perfector purse organizer to keep me organized along the way. Travel has always been a passion for me, and in fact, traveling abroad inspired me to invent the Purse Perfector. According to the interior of the purse, I could change the configuration of the Purse Perfector to accommodate a backpack, a small bag, a briefcase, or the rolling tote I take on board planes. In this post, I’m sharing a few of my favorite photos I shot in Argentina.
One of the statuaries above crypts and mausoleums in Recoleta, the famous cemetery in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Like New Orleans, the graves are set above ground.
Recolata is where Eva Peron is interred and when I visited on International Women’s Day in 2009, there were large stacks of bouquets in front of Peron’s crypt.
I’ve been to Argentina three times and love shopping for leather belts and handbags at shops like Prune (many locations in malls and on the pedestrian shopping street, Florida) and Charles Calfun.
We visited a friends’ beautiful estancia (ranch) a little more than an hour outside Buenos Aires and were charmed by their striking roof and how early a boy becomes a skilled horseman.
